New Year, New CanvasJanuary 03, 2006 - Back to Main Blog Our New Year's Day Celebration was fabulous. I was exhausted afterwards, in fact I think I still have a laughter hangover (the best kind). I enjoyed the company of new found friends in the store, and old ones at home. And while it was very busy, I still found the time to reflect on the past year. I did so by writing down everything that happened in 2005. No good or bad, it just happened. There was no judgment placed on what had occured it just WAS...little blurbs on a page that had taken but a moment of my time in life. And now, they were gone. It was really quite refreshing to have the New Year Celebration provide us with the opportunity to "Let it Go". It's true, that many of us have made committments to live in the present. It's also true that many of us drag the present from one present to another (show of hands anyone, or was that just me?). And for me, the energy around the New Year's Celebration is one that re-connects me to my present-based living committment. It's one that moves me into a space of deep gratitude and gives me permission to release, pull out a new canvas, and begin to create! Blessings of Play and Abundace to you this year. |
